I love life, but hate Cancer
So on July 9th, I will be taking part in my fifth Race for Life. This year I’ll be running four and a half stone lighter, so the pressure is certainly on to beat last year’s time! 🙂
Everybody knows the loss and devastation that Cancer brings, so let’s end it together.
As ever, I’ll be taking part in memory of my dear cousin Dean, who we sadly lost to Bowel Cancer in February 2012, and devastatingly, my uncle Luigi a year later.
I am also fundraising to help others who are sadly affected by Cancer. It’s important to remember how incredibly difficult it is for those with Cancer and their families too.
No length of time can measure how much myself, and my family miss Dean and Luigi. However, amazing fundraising events like Race for Life aids grief, turning it into something positive and proactive to help others.
I would very much appreciate any donations, big or small. It all counts towards putting an end to Cancer. Thank you!
